Frequently asked questions

How do I apply for a driver job in Denmark?

Fill in the application form once, which takes about two minutes. We review every profile and get back to you within 24 hours with the routes that fit your licence and your city.

Does it cost anything to apply?

No. Applying through DriverJobs.dk is completely free for candidates. The employers pay us, never you.

Do I need experience or a special licence?

A regular B licence is enough for car and van routes, scooter routes need a scooter licence, and truck routes require C or CE. Taxi work requires a taxi driver card. Experience helps but is not required, since full training is provided.

When can I start working?

How quickly you start depends on the employer and the route, and some drivers begin within days. We handle the paperwork with the employer and guide you all the way to your first shift.

What can I earn as a driver in Denmark?

Pay depends on the route and the employer. Delivery routes are often paid per delivery, plus a tax-free allowance per kilometre when you use your own car. Truck and taxi work is usually paid by the hour under a collective agreement. We tell you the exact numbers for each specific job before you accept it.

Can I drive at night or only during the day?

Both. Newspaper and parcel routes mostly run in the evening and at night, which suits people who want quiet roads and daytime free. Van, truck and taxi work covers days, evenings and weekends.

Do I need to speak Danish?

Not for most delivery routes, where English is enough. Taxi work and some customer-facing roles need conversational Danish. We match you to what you actually speak.

Can I use my own car or van?

Yes, on many delivery routes, and you receive a tax-free allowance per kilometre. Other routes provide the vehicle. Tell us which you prefer when you apply.
